New Birth Community Development is a non-profit community organization that was created to discover and endeavor to meet the needs of the under served in its surrounding communities. It is our mission to be a bridge between community needs and resources.
WHAT WE DO
Business Consultation
NBCD provides a space to walk new business owners through the process of filing all paperwork and planning for their openings. We stand in as a thought partner to these businesses so they are able to launch their new endeavor as anticipated by their plans and dreams.
The Collective” Leadership Cohort
*Coming Fall 2022*
The collective is a space for young adult leaders of color ages 21-40. This space was created to provide opportunity for leaders to gather collectively, network and learn from each other as well as guest speakers, mentors and trainers. Leaders and business owners can obtain membership for an annual fee and have access to all of the offerings of this cohort.
Lifestyle Consultation
NBCD provides lifestyle consultation through small group sessions. Sessions are created around the needs of the participants and designed to assist in providing tools needed to accomplish small attainable goals.
Journey Mentoring Program
Journey Mentoring Program (A program of New Birth Community Development), promotes and teaches responsibility for youth ages 10-18. This takes place through highly interactive activities. The program is designed as a small group mentoring resource and represents a targeted effort to engage youth in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior. Our principles are:
Education + Engagement + Experience + Exposure = Empowerment
CORE Women’s Group
This program is designed as a judgement free group setting where women ages 18+ may gather to work through trauma, addiction, parenting and more, towards healing, empowerment, and growth. Sessions are made to focus on what the women are currently dealing with and will include the group facilitator as well as guest speakers.
Adventure Community Academy
ACA endeavors to provide an educational and social learning environment to prepare our children for success in a worldwide competitive environment.
Journey Mentoring Program
Journey Mentoring is a small group mentoring program open to all students! We are a resource students use to assist in real life matters, post high school choices, career skills
and more!
